About Me

I have been visually impaired since birth and there has always been a silent expectation that I would someday teach blind children. However, I prefer to follow my own path. I studied creative writing and accessible design during my under-grad, then focused my graduate studies on adult learning; designing a framework for developing accessible and inclusive e-learning content, called Universal Design for eLearning (UDEL).

I have worked as an Assistive Technology Instructor at a blindness non-profit, an Accessibility Tester for multiple large corporations, and a Disability Support Services Program Assistant at a community college. Today I’m a Digital Accessibility Analyst with 5+ years of experience and 50+ audits behind me, specializing in manual screen reader testing (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 compliance, and VPAT/ACR reporting. I also conceived and built ART, an open-source accessibility reporting tool designed for full keyboard and screen reader use.
